Thistle Run 2009, The 10th Anniversary! The official turnout was 221 Minis registered by 11am on the day. The event has became more than a run in previous years, as you know we raise money for supported charities. On the day Thistle Runners raised a grand total of £5135.81 for our charities. Enabling the Miniclan to donate £2567.91 to the Girvan RNLI and £1283.95 to the other two supported charities 'Solus' Cancer care ward (Southern General Hospital) & Arthur Shiel Animal Rescue Centre (Galashields)
