From all the positive feed back that the Mini Clan has had over the last week, it seems certain that this years Thistle Run was a great success!
On Sunday 28th May, 144 Minis arrived at the Scottish Mining Museum in Newtongrange (just outside Edinburgh). The Museum was delighted to welcome us, and laid on a great breakfast for the early arrivals, including our ‘surprise’ furthest travelled mini (but more of that later!). Even though registration didn’t open until 9:30, we had Minis arriving as early as 8:30am, eager to be part of the “London to Brighton of Scotland”.
